A subscription combines the website build with an ongoing managed service. You know what you’re paying for and what happens if your needs change.
The website and hosting
GoodWeb retains ownership of its website code and manages the hosting on subscription plans. You receive a licence to use the website while your subscription is active. The agreement can include a separately priced buyout and handover; paying the subscription does not automatically transfer ownership.
Your business remains yours
Your business name, trademarks, supplied copy, photographs and customer data remain yours. Third-party software and assets remain subject to their own licences.
The domain and your options
The proposal names the domain’s registered holder, who pays for renewals, and the process and cost for any transfer. Existing business domains are not transferred to GoodWeb without an explicit agreement.
A clear way forward
Standard website subscriptions start with a 12-month term. Renewal, notice, early cancellation and any buyout are explained before you sign. One-time builds have their own written licence or ownership terms and handover scope.

The agreed public pages are checked on mobile and desktop. If the launch checks fall short, we fix the covered work at no extra charge before it is signed off.

The 90+ launch guarantee
A clear promise. A clear way to check it.
We guarantee a score of at least 90 in Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO for the public pages covered by your proposal, tested in PageSpeed Insights on both mobile and desktop at launch.
Agree the pages. The proposal names every covered public URL and the required features. Private account screens and pages intentionally excluded from search have separate acceptance checks.
Test the real launch version. Tests use the production domain, agreed hosting, final approved content and required integrations. We do not remove agreed features just to improve a score.
Use a repeatable result. We run three completed tests per covered URL and device mode using the same Lighthouse version and launch build. The median score in each of the four categories must be at least 90. We share the dated reports.
Put shortfalls right. If any covered launch result falls below 90, we correct the covered work at no additional charge and retest before launch acceptance. We do not mark the guarantee fulfilled until all covered results meet it.
The guarantee concerns the agreed launch version. Later edits, new scripts, hosting changes and changes to Google’s testing can affect future scores. Ongoing monitoring or a continuing score commitment must be agreed separately.
A 90+ SEO score is not a ranking guarantee, and a 90+ automated accessibility score is not a certification of complete accessibility or legal compliance. Core Web Vitals field data is a separate measure of real visitors’ experience.
The score graphic shows the promised threshold. It is not evidence that this preview, YYC Medical Aesthetics or OwnFeed has achieved those scores.
We agree the pages, content, features and responsibilities before work begins. Base website prices assume supplied, approved copy and images; writing, branding, additional pages and complex integrations are quoted separately.
Monthly and annual website plans include standard static hosting, deployment care and scheduled site checks. Domains, business email, paid tools, content edits and usage-based services are identified separately. Custom applications have their own hosting and operating scope.
Your proposal states the initial term, total minimum cost, payment schedule, renewal terms, cancellation arrangements and any buyout. No checkout or automatic subscription is created by completing our project brief.

Routine hosting and technical care are included in the standard website subscriptions. Additional content changes and planned improvements can be arranged as needed.
A defined update allowance.
Add a monthly block of update time, or agree individual changes when you need them. One-time build clients can choose a separate hosting and care arrangement.
